Cabling and Infrastructure
Network and Cabling Cabling
infrastructure should be well designed and built from the beginning and used for years. The following points should be considered in the cabling to be made:
Data cables should be preferred as UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair), STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) or Fiber Optic depending on the environment.

The data cables used should support standards such as Cat5e, Cat6e, Cat6a, Cat7 UTP - FTP.
According to the architecture, it can be plastered, under the ground, in the channel, etc. Data cables that are delivered to the user's desk in this way must be terminated at a data socket. Data plugs (RJ-45 Connector) should not be attached to the ends of these non-elastic cables. In the center where the other ends of the cables are gathered (preferably the system room), the cables should be terminated in passive devices called Patch Panels.
Connections between Data Sockets - Computer and Patch Panel - HUB should be made with soft and elastic patch cords, which are produced with multi-wire cables.
Electrical infrastructure must be reviewed in data and telephone cabling projects. It should be ensured that there is a separate grounding line for computer systems, it should be noted that the ground voltage levels are within tolerable limits.
What is Structured Cabling?
Computer networks running on CAT 5 / 6 structured cabling infrastructure provide an excellent infrastructure for advanced voice and data services. With structured cabling, the cabling infrastructure of data, telephone, security, network and UPS electrical systems is gathered under a single roof, creating an integrated and flexible working environment. The infrastructure created with passive equipment such as cables, data sockets, data plugs, patch panels and cabinets constitute the basic element of a healthy network, telephone, communication and security system. This infrastructure has been able to meet the needs of the company for many years.
Servisdesk Bilişim meets the cabling and infrastructure needs of companies within the framework of structured cabling logic and engineering format. High quality products are used in cabling works and necessary tests are carried out after establishment. Fiber solutions can also be used in network designs to provide greater network transmission speed. After each establishment, data cables are tested end-to-end, and test reports, detailed project drawings, cable tracking diagrams, etc. It is delivered to our customers along with the documents.
Wiring Categories
Structured cabling solutions are described by categories. The category of a cabling solution determines the data transfer rate. It offers solutions for you with the most suitable cabling categories that have been carefully tested according to standards.
Cat 5 cabling - Category 5 provides an open and flexible infrastructure that supports all local networks up to 100Mbit/s Ethernet speed.
Cat 5e cabling - Provides support for local area networks (LAN) up to 1000Mbit/s (Gidabit Ethernet).
Cat 6 cabling - Provides higher performance (250 Mhz) cabling systems. Although it currently supports up to 1 Gigabit, it has the potential to support higher speeds in the future.
Cat 7 cabling - Fully shielded and supports 600MHz. It provides more than double the bandwidth of Cat 5/6, but is much more expensive and bulky.
Fiber Optic - Suitable for high speed fiber transmission systems, including Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet Backbone technologies. Second generation fibers such as OM1, OM2, OM3 and OS1 are used.
